UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL MAGDEBURG

Under the theme of interdisciplinary exchange and cross-sector networking, the 4th Symposium on Regional General Practice was held on June 3, 2026, at the Faculty of Medicine of Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg. The event brought together numerous stakeholders in regional healthcare and provided a platform for professional dialogue, networking, and shared perspectives on current challenges in the healthcare sector.

The Corporate Health Award recognizes the high quality of health promotion at Magdeburg University Hospital. With a benchmark score of 77 percent and ratings of excellence for its workplace health management (BGM) and employee health management (BEM) programs, the institution is setting a strong example for healthy working conditions.

What does the clinical rotation (PJ) actually entail—and where would I like to complete it? These questions were the focus of the PJ fairs held in May at Magdeburg University Hospital. On May 13, the teaching hospitals presented themselves, and on May 20, the university hospital itself. Both events were well attended, with around 50 students at each.
