The Department of Thoracic Surgery is dedicated to the surgical treatment of cancer of the thorax. We specialize in the treatment of lung cancer, metastasis of other tumors to the lungs, and tumors of the pleura (e.g., pleural mesothelioma) and the mediastinum (e.g., thymoma tumors).
