An exciting opportunity arose on May 9 and 10, 2025, for all radiologists at the beginning of their further training:
The Next-Gen IR Skills Lab at Wissenschaftshafen Magdeburg launched an innovative training format that combines theory and practice at the highest level.
The new course was aimed at young radiologists seeking to deepen their knowledge and practical skills in modern interventional radiology.
What awaited us:
- Practical training: Exercises at specialized stations – including CT, MRI, and ultrasound-guided procedures as well as angiography techniques.
- First-hand expertise: Guidance from experienced tutors with practical tips and insights into material and technology management.
- Efficient preparation: An accompanying online theory section ensures optimal preparation for the practical training.
The focus is on realistic simulations, the safe use of equipment and techniques, and collegial exchange with experts and like-minded colleagues.
